ACTIVE TIMES/PACE: EST, typically mornings or late afternoons/evenings. I try to do at minimum 1 tag per day but can boomerang for short periods if someone's on or lets me know they're available.

PHYSICAL AFFECTION: You are welcome to try but Edelgard doesn't trust easily (save for very, very few people). A pat on the shoulder is fine (if weird) but beyond that would be uncomfortable unless she's warmed up to it. Think abused feral cat with limited social skills.
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: You are welcome to try. I'm fine with OOCly; Edelgard is a tank and can take plenty of hits. She will, however, hit back. :)
RELATIONSHIPS: Not impossible! Just...Hard Mode Slow Burn (with few exceptions).
PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION: OH BOY. Edelgard has missing memories for some of her childhood, mostly around the time of her imprisonment and torture, as well as the loss of her siblings. That entire time is mired deep in her mind, likely in an act of self-preservation because what was done to her and her family was horrific beyond words. It is probably best not to try to draw this up for both her and whomever tries to find it.
Also, P.S., if she figures out you're the one rooting around? It's not going to end well.
MAGICAL INFORMATION: Edelgard has no magic to speak of in the rudimentary ways. She does, however, possess two Crests: the Crest of Flames and the Crest of Seiros. Crest of Flames allows for some minor healing factor; Crest of Seiros provides a boost to strength at times.
MEDICAL INFORMATION: Due to the experimentation done on her body (which was the implanting of her second Crest), Edelgard's lifespan is shortened. In addition, her body is littered with scars from said experimentation and countless battles.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: ICly, Edelgard would be turned off by hearing of experimentation, human sacrifice, etc. While interrogative methods are one thing, true cruelty in them is something she's uncomfortable with. (Look, she even allows the man scheming to destroy her family to be in a nice dungeon and not the rat-infested hole she was in as a kid. It's better than nothing!) She also hates rats.

Edelgard is a divisive character. She makes bad choices in multiple routes. Spoilers: so does pretty much everyone else. If you're using your character as a mouthpiece to discuss your OOC personal views with Edelgard, I'm not interested in threading. That being said, if your character has IC reason to argue with her or to find her monstrous (like Dimitri or her castmates), that's fine! I'm happy to have negative CR. Be warned that Edelgard herself will not continue to engage with someone who has written her off; she isn't interested in convincing enemies that she is worth their consideration or time. Will she help someone in dire need despite negative CR? Sure, so long as they're not Thales-levels of evil. But she won't go out of her way to chase people or convince people to care about her.
While I'd love to explore slow-burn understanding arcs or even enemies-to-tentative-allies things, I just want to be clear up front that I am very aware of fandom's views on Edelgard, I know how she's written as an antagonist in 3 out of 4 routes. In battle, she is usually wielding a shield and an axe that are easily her size without issue, so she can be exceedingly intimidating.

DEMEANOUR: Edelgard presents herself as formal, polite, perhaps even warm but certainly one might easily call her aloof. She speaks with an air of authority around classmates and allies, gentler in tone with trusted companions. She naturally takes order (both on the battlefield and in simply wanting to help). When faced with others in authority over her or among equals (or in fraught situations), she is watchful and calm, assessing.
